Research brief

Sin título (XP) 2018, es una serie de encuentros con la divinidad y epifanías en la realidad cotidiana. El Laboratorio de Investigación Objetiva obtiene de la fotografía vernácula, su cualidad utilitaria, y a través de la digitalización y reimpresión de fotografías de las primeras décadas del siglo XX, realiza un acto de resurrección en la re-documentación, exaltando el carácter divino de la imagen femenina.

Las letras griegas Χ (chi) y Ρ (rho), son las dos primeras del nombre de Cristo en griego (ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ). Estas dos letras fueron utilizadas mucho antes de la era cristiana para identificar algo de valor. Con esta intervención física sobre el original y sobre las reimpresiones, se evidencia el carácter numinoso de esta manifestación.
